What is the difference when it comes to Adults and Children given Miranda warning against self-incrimination?

The difference is that recent SC rulings indicate that there must be a commonsense approach to the traditional standard of when the Miranda Rights must be given (custody). Recent rulings indicate that a childs age must be factored due to incidents where a child is questioned in the presence of school officials and police and don't feel that they are free to leave (perceived custody).
