Sims 3 Ambitions : Owning your own company?

I have always wondered can you own your own company. For example purchase the tattoo and Saloon or the bar and use the upstairs as a home seeing as there is space up there. I have found that i can live in the fire station without moving out. I really want to combine both the bar and my home. Does anyone know its possible to set your company as your home?
