Why are all Disney and Nick actors turning to singers?

I agree with those who said because of money. The only talented singers of Disney are Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus (somewhat....on a good day lol). I dunno about Nick cuz I have never been that into their new shows. But Miranda Cosgrove sucks as a singer, I'm sorry to say. I hate that Raining Sunshine crap....I tried to give her a chance but that was absolute crap. I heard Jennette McCurdy (Sam) is actually a good singer but havent had the chance to check her out....
