I work at McDonalds and don't have a schedule yet. I call in to see if i need to work for now.?

They are only giving me a 30 minutes notice when i call to get there and i dont have a car or and reliable ride. and when i am late they call and say "stay home". Will i lose my job even though i dont have a scheldule and they are only giving me 30 mins when it takes me 2 hours to catch a bus there?
